Making the Grade

This disc is a little graduation present for those who make it through the classroom theory. It’s like a keg party after finals, a lot more fun and rewarding. It doesn’t involve paying any bribes and is just a practical guide to some interesting and successful lives of active and creative students elsewhere. This disc offers some convincing proof that educational systems that value and foster freedom of thought, speech and action can produce some amazing creativity at a very tender age. 

Who needs a degree to be successful? Why go to class when you can do something much more interesting while at school? No sense in studying someone else’s ideas when you can make your own masterpiece. This CD will inspire you to get your ass out of that ivory tower and do something really unorthodox. It is full of revisionist histories of foreign students who’ve accomplished much more than good grades. No pedantic lectures here, just cool stories like the Polish student who became his country’s youngest millionaire by doing what he likes best, an interview with a 19 year-old student from Belgium on how he made a video that was shown on MTV, and a lesson from a Lithuanian dental student on how to organize underground raves. Don’t forget to take notes! You too can go to the head of the class. But even if you drop out of this issue, we hope you learned a lot.
